As 2024 draws to a close and we look back at the Autumn term, Avening has truly been a wonderful school to be a part of with all the concerts, festive trips and events.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported FOAS, from buying raffle tickets and donating hamper prizes to joining us at our Christmas Fayre and more… we know just how busy the term has been.

Your support has been incredible and together we have raised thousands of pounds for Avening Primary School.

A special thank you to all the amazing volunteers who made these events such a success - we couldn’t have done it without you.

TOTAL - £5,700 profit

These fantastic funds have covered the cost of coaches for Christmas pantomime trips, and in the new year will buy new resources for the school.

We’ve loved receiving your feedback from our recent Christmas Wreath Workshop, thank you so much for all the kind words - we hope everyone is enjoying their creations! 🎄

Children from the Eagles, Kestrels and Hawks class

Children from the Eagles, Kestrels and Hawks classes had a fantastic time at the Wyvern Theatre in Swindon yesterday watching the magical fairytale pantomime, Cinderella.

Thanks to your generous donations, contributions and to all the fundraising efforts at FOAS, we were able to fund the coaches and refreshments for the trip, and every child was able to experience the festive performance.

It’s Christmas Fayre day!

Rather than our usual Cookie & Donut stall today, we thought we’d offer something to keep that after school hunger at bay a little longer…

Grab yourself a Jolly Jingle Snack Pack and enjoy a piece of fruit, crisps and a juice carton.
